# Creating Meta ads campaign

This page shows you how to create a Meta Ads campaign in Cymbal

Create a Meta ads campaign for one event or a carousel of events, then launch it from the Ads tab.

## How to create a Meta ads campaign

Go to the [Ads](https://manager.cymbal.co/ads) tab.

Select **Create**.
{% endstep %}

Choose **Single event** or **Carousel**. These steps use **Single event**. For carousels, see [Carousel Ads](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/creating-meta-ads-campaign/carousel-ads).

Choose the goal of the campaign: **Ticket sales** or **Awareness**. See [Ticket Sales vs Awareness](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/creating-meta-ads-campaign/ticket-sales-vs-awareness).

Select **Create**, then choose the event or events you want to advertise. You can also select **Continue without an event** in the bottom left.

Use the sections on the left to set up **Objective & Accounts**, **Audience**, **Placements**, and **Budget**. For audiences, see [Meta Ads targeting](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/creating-meta-ads-campaign/meta-ads-targeting).

Edit the ad design from the bottom left before you publish. See [Adjusting Creatives and Placements](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/creating-meta-ads-campaign/adjusting-creatives-and-placements).

Use the preview dropdown to see how the ad will appear on each connected platform.

Select **Launch**. Your ad is now live.

If you don't have a conversion pixel set up, you'll get an error when you choose **Ticket sales**. See [Missing Conversion Pixel](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/troubleshooting/missing-conversion-pixel).
