When you create an ad campaign in Cymbal, you choose a goal: **Ticket sales** or **Awareness**.

## Ticket sales

A ticket sales campaign needs a **conversion pixel** to track purchases. Without one, the campaign can't run. If you're not sure whether you have a conversion pixel, or you want to set one up, reach out to your ticketing provider and they can configure it for you. See [Missing Conversion Pixel](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/ads/troubleshooting/missing-conversion-pixel).

## Awareness

Awareness is the default goal. It doesn't need a conversion pixel and can run without any extra setup.
