Sync tags to Meta custom audiences
Sync a Cymbal tag or list to a Meta custom audience for ads targeting (Premium).
On Premium, you can sync a Cymbal tag (and list/audience sync where offered) to a Meta custom audience, then use that audience in Cymbal Ads targeting or lookalikes.
Premium feature. Meta ads audience sync is listed on Premium. Starter does not include Cymbal Ads or audience sync — see Starter & Premium pricing.
Before you start
Be on Premium, connect Meta Ads — Connecting Meta Ads — and build or choose a tag with the contacts you want in Meta.
How to sync from a tag
Go to Tags.
Open the tag detail page.
Find the Meta audience sync card (shown when ads are connected).
Follow the card to create or refresh the sync to Meta.
Once synced, use the custom audience (and lookalikes based on it) when building ad sets — see Lookalike Audiences and Meta Ads targeting.
Tips
Keep the source tag membership clean (suppress or remove contacts you should not advertise to).
Sync is for ads audiences, not a replacement for Cymbal targeting inside email/SMS.
Launching ads remains a Manager go-live step.
