# High Intent email automation

Turn on the default High Intent email automation, or recreate it if it was deleted.

When you create a Cymbal organization, we add a **High Intent** email automation for you. It reminds people who are interested in an upcoming event but have not bought tickets yet.

You will not see a create-dialog card named “High Intent.” It already lives in your Email Automations list.

## How to turn on High Intent

Go to the [Email](https://manager.cymbal.co/email) tab.

Open the **Automations** section.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Find **High Intent** in the list and open it.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Review the timing, targeting, and email design.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Select **Turn on** in the top right.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Your High Intent automation is now live.

## If you deleted High Intent — how to recreate it

Go to the [Email](https://manager.cymbal.co/email) tab.

In **Automations**, select **Create new**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Choose **Before an event starts**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
In targeting, include contacts who are **Interested in event**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Exclude ticket buyers** so people who already purchased do not get the remind.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Adjust timing, copy, and design as needed.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Select **Turn on** in the top right.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

That recreate path matches the default High Intent behavior.
