# How Revenue Attribution works for Email

Cymbal is able to attribute revenue to your marketing campaigns.  The way attribution varies slightly depending on the campaign type and what data Cymbal gets from your ticketing provider.  However generally revenue attribution for email works like so.

Email

If the purchase occurs within **10 days** of opening the email and this campaign was the latest marketing transaction received by the purchaser.
