# How to Fix “Your Business Has Access to No Ad Accounts”

## Why You’re Seeing

**“Your business has access to no ad accounts”**

This message means that the **Meta Business Manager you selected does not currently have any ad accounts connected to it**, or your user does not have permission to access them.

To run ads, your Business Manager must have **at least one ad account**, and your user must have access to it.

***

### What Meta Requires (High Level)

According to Meta, **ad accounts live inside Business Manager**.\
A Business Manager can only run ads if one of the following is true:

* An ad account already exists in the Business Manager
* An existing ad account has been **added** to the Business Manager
* A new ad account is **created** inside the Business Manager
* Your user has been **granted access** to an ad account

If none of those are true, Meta will show this message.

***

### How to Fix This (Step by Step)

#### Option 1: Create a New Ad Account

Use this option if your business does not already have an ad account.

1. Go to **Meta Business Settings**
2. Select **Accounts → Ad accounts**
3. Click **Add**
4. Choose **Create a new ad account**
5. Enter:
   * Ad account name
   * Time zone
   * Currency
6. Assign:
   * Your Business Manager
   * Your user (with **Admin access**)

Once created, return to Cymbal and refresh the connection.

***

#### Option 2: Add an Existing Ad Account

Use this option if an ad account already exists elsewhere.

1. Go to **Meta Business Settings**
2. Select **Accounts → Ad accounts**
3. Click **Add**
4. Choose **Add an ad account**
5. Enter the **Ad Account ID**
6. Confirm ownership or access

⚠️ Note: You must be an **admin on the ad account** to add it.

***

#### Option 3: Request Access to an Ad Account

Use this if another person or organization owns the ad account.

1. Go to **Meta Business Settings**
2. Select **Accounts → Ad accounts**
3. Click **Add**
4. Choose **Request access to an ad account**
5. Enter the **Ad Account ID**
6. Ask the owner to approve the request

After approval, return to Cymbal and try again.

***

#### Option 4: Check Your Permissions

Even if an ad account exists, you may not have access.

Make sure:

* You are added to the **Business Manager**
* You have access to the **ad account**
* Your role includes **Ad account admin** or equivalent permissions

Permissions are managed under:\
**Business Settings → Users → People**

***

### Common Reasons This Happens

* The Business Manager was created but **no ad account was ever set up**
* The ad account exists under a **different Business Manager**
* Your user was added to the Business Manager but **not to the ad account**
* You selected the wrong Business Manager during setup

***

### After You Fix It

Once at least one ad account is available:

1. Return to Cymbal
2. Refresh the Meta connection
3. Select the ad account when prompted
