# Eventim

Connect Cymbal to Eventim

Connect Eventim with the API key your Eventim representative provides. You can also bring in SMS opt-ins from Eventim checkout.

## How to connect Eventim

In Cymbal, go to **Settings** → [**Integrations**](https://manager.cymbal.co/settings/integrations).

Select **Connect with a ticketer**, choose **Eventim**, and select **Get started** in the pop-up.

Enter the details from your Eventim representative. Reach out to them to get your:

* Clients API Key
* Subdomain (optional): the domain your events show up on

Select **Connect**.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Cymbal is now connected to your Eventim account.

## Collect SMS subscribers at checkout

To bring in your SMS opt-ins, ask your Eventim account manager to enable the **SMS Opt-in** setting. Once it's enabled, Cymbal automatically syncs SMS opt-ins from Eventim to your Cymbal account.

## Event descriptions

If there is no description for an event, Cymbal pulls it from the public event page and refreshes it whenever the event syncs.
