# Phone Number Registration

If you'd like to send SMS campaigns through Cymbal, you’ll need to acquire a phone number first. Follow these steps:

1. Request a phone number by navigating to the [Texts](https://manager.cymbal.co/text) tab, then click **Create** → **Campaigns**

2. Click **Text setup**.

3. Complete the onboarding steps. Make sure to provide accurate business information.

4. Once submitted, Cymbal will charge your card a **one-time fee of $40** and a **$10 monthly maintenance fee**.
5. Getting your phone number set up can take anywhere from **a few days to 4 weeks**.
