# How Revenue Attribution works for SMS

Cymbal is able to attribute revenue to your marketing campaigns.  The way attribution varies slightly depending on the campaign type and what data Cymbal gets from your ticketing provider.  However generally revenue attribution for SMS works like so.

#### SMS

If the event link was clicked, the purchase occurs within **1 week** of clicking the link, and the SMS campaign was the latest marketing transaction received by the purchaser.
