# Reply Forwarding

This page will show you how to setup reply forwarding in Cymbal

Forward the texts your customers send to your Cymbal number to an email address, so you can read them in your inbox.

Reply forwarding doesn't replace [Inbox (two-way SMS)](https://docs.cymbal.co/help/sms/inbox-two-way-sms), where you can read and reply to texts in Cymbal.

## How to set up reply forwarding

Select [Settings](https://manager.cymbal.co/settings/organization).

Select [Text](https://manager.cymbal.co/settings/text).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Select **Forward replies to**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Enter the email address you want SMS replies sent to.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

New SMS replies are now forwarded to that email address.
