Text usage metrics

Review daily SMS and MMS segment usage and cost in Settings → Text, and download a CSV.

Owners can review daily outbound SMS/MMS usage and cost for the organization under Settings → Text, and download a CSV for billing or finance review.

Who can see this? Owners only. Limited members do not get org Text settings — see Owner vs Limited roles.

How to open SMS usage

Go to Settings → Text.

Find the SMS usage table on the same page as organization phone numbers and reply forwarding.

What the table shows

Each row is a calendar day of outbound usage. Columns include:

Column group	What's included
Date	Day of usage
US/CA SMS	Segments + cost
Non-US/CA SMS	Segments + cost
SMS carrier fees	Carrier fee total for SMS
MMS	Segments + cost + MMS carrier fees
Total	Total text cost for the day

Use Load more to pull earlier months (the table loads prior calendar-month chunks).

How to download a CSV

On Settings → Text, open the download control for SMS usage.

Confirm the download and save the CSV.

Typical CSV fields include date, segment/cost/fee columns, and a total text cost field.

• Segment counts follow Cymbal SMS pricing rules (encoding and emoji can change segment length) — see SMS pricing.

• Usage metrics are for outbound SMS/MMS billed through Cymbal; they complement campaign-level analytics on the Texts hub.
