Setting up a custom email address

PreviousMarketingNextCustom email warmup

Last updated 4 months ago

A custom email address allows your emails to be sent from whatever email you like. In the long run this improves open rates and reduces the likelihood that your emails end up in the spam folder.

  1. Head over to Settings -> Marketing:

  2. Click the "Custom email address" slider.

  1. Enter your domain name.

  2. Enter a username and sub domain. Example: events@mail.cymbal.co

  1. Add the DNS records to your domain provider. Please see our instructions on how to add DNS records: Adding DNS records

  2. After your domain is connected. Cymbal will warmup your domain by only sending a subset of your emails through your new email.
