Setting up a custom email address

A custom email address allows your emails to be sent from whatever email you like. In the long run this improves open rates and reduces the likelihood that your emails end up in the spam folder.

1. Head over to Settings -> Marketing: https://manager.cymbal.co/settings/marketing

2. Click the "Custom email address" slider.

1. Enter your domain name.

2. Enter a username and sub domain. Example: [e-mail]

1. Copy and paste all of the DNS records into your DNS configuration. Please see instructions for the various DNS providers:

   1. GoDaddy

   2. Squarespace

   3. Cloudflare

2. Verification can take a few hours. We will email you if we've successfully verified that the DNS records have been added.

3. After your domain is connected. Cymbal will warmup your domain by only sending a subset of your emails through your new email.
