Suppressing contacts allows you to reduce your monthly bill without deleting any customer data. See the tutorial below on how to suppress contacts.

  1. Go to the Audience tab in your Cymbal.co dashboard.

  1. Select the criteria for the contacts you want to suppress. In this example, we are selecting contacts with a 1-star email rating.

  1. Click “Manage Suppression” located under the search bar.

  1. Choose the communication channel you want to suppress. For this example, we will suppress both Email and Text message. Then, click “Update status for X contacts”.

  1. Click “Suppress” to confirm and complete the process.

How Can a Suppressed Contact Be Unsuppressed?

If a suppressed contact purchases a ticket and opts in, they will automatically be unsuppressed and start receiving marketing communications again.
